How it works
Security cover in three simple steps.
Clients post a vacancy. Verified guards nearby hear about it and say they are interested. The client picks, and the booking is made.
For clients and agencies
- 1
Post a vacancy
Add the venue, dates, SIA licence needed and the hourly rate. One shift or a run of dates.
- 2
Pick a verified guard
See interested guards with checked SIA licences, right to work and qualifications.
- 3
Pay only when filled
A £20 booking fee per guard, only when your vacancy is filled. You pay the guard directly.
For SIA-licensed guards
- 1
Sign up and get verified
Add your SIA badge, right to work and qualifications. We check them before you start.
- 2
Get alerts near you
Set your catchment areas and get an email when suitable work is posted nearby.
- 3
Express interest, get booked
Tap "I'm interested". When a client picks you, you get the venue and contact details.
The checks we make
Trust is the point of GuardGo. Nobody is booked, and no vacancy goes live, until we have checked who they are.
Every guard
- SIA licence checked against the public register, and checked again before bookings
- Right to work checked before anyone can book them
- A clear photo, and qualifications such as first aid when a vacancy needs them
Every client
- Company details checked with Companies House
- Insurance certificates checked
- SIA Approved Contractor status checked for security companies that hold it
What happens when a guard is booked
The guard
Gets the venue address, the contact on the day and the dates, by email and in their account.
The client
Gets the guard's full name, phone number and SIA licence number, so they can check it themselves.
Payment
The client pays GuardGo a £20 booking fee, and pays the guard directly at the rate in the vacancy.
